The latest can't-get-it-out-of-your-head Halifax commercial features a Mr. Thomas Yau, an employee at the bank from Leeds who auditioned after seeing an internal email.
I don't know how they do it but the people who make the Halifax ads seem to have a knack of choosing songs that really stick in your head! Still, it's a fun ad and it's nice to see a Chinese face in a commercial who isn't doing the usual, predictable, stereotypical stuff.

its the most annoying crap advert ever.
we met this badman in a brand new halifax branch in brighton today. they gave us free popcorn and we put our arms around him and took a photo. howard was meant to be there but he was a chicken and he didnt arrive we got thomas instead, which in esscence was a better deal overall. we also got free glasses which magnified it made you a bit fuzzy but you DID look like the howard brown, you know the one off the halifax adverts. signed turner newmeir -drury and lewis nicholls.
